Late in the summer of 2020, our family vacationed to Florida. During the long 16+ hour drive home, I began assembling a fall-inspired weekly meal plan to use myself and share with you. Unfortunately, when we returned, this plan sat in the back burner for a long time and was ultimately forgotten. Recently, while I was preparing a grocery list and weekly meal plan for our family, this old forgotten autumn meal plan came to mind. After digging, the menu was located, and I was happy finding the bulk of the meal plan finished. Wow! Finding a prepared, easy meal plan that only requires a trip for groceries, and preparation of the meals themselves, feels like a small treasure.
The original idea behind the weekly meal plan included creating 2-3 weeks of seasonally inspired meal plans, and shopping lists. I still love this idea and hope to prepare two more fall-inspired weekly meal plans for the autumn season. In the future, I will create plans for the other seasons.

Before you learn about the delicious meals you can prepare with this meal plan, let me tell you that I will not make all these recipes in one week. Our current schedule keeps us away from home two to three nights per week, sometimes more. For us, this week of recipes will be stretched out and used to prepare two weeks of dinners. Look at dinnertime realistically. If your obligations allow seven meals to be prepared at home this week, go for it. If not, don’t place any undue expectations on yourself. This plan should help you, not frustrate you.
With this free meal plan you will make the following:
- Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup
- One Pan Autumn Chicken Dinner
- Kielbasa and Cauliflower Skillet Meal
- Spicy Buttered Steak Bites with Maple Glazed Roasted Carrots
- Chicken Stir Fry and Rice
- Loaded Sheet Pan Nachos
- Fried Pork Chops with Apples
The recipes in this fall-inspired meal plan serve four comfortably. You may want to double the recipe if you have a larger family or big eaters. Enjoy!
