I'm working this evening on the last few details for the November morning time bundle. As I finish up, I'm thinking of all the wonderful friends that these bundles have brought me, many of them through IG. Of them, I can name many of you who are currently going through really tough times. Some of you are displaced because of natural catastrophes that took or damaged your home, some of you are walking through periods of unemployment or job loss of a spouse due to mandates or layoffs, some of you are sick, some of you are discouraged, and some of you are simply tired.

It's easy to feel hopeless to help. Especially when some of you I have never met in person. Then I remember, I can do something. I can greet all of those who land here, on this Instagram page, with love, comfort, and care. I can pray for those I know by name specifically and with intention. I don't have to see your home in person to pray that God will restore it. I don't have to see your paycheck, or lack thereof, to ask God to meet all of your needs in abundance. I don't have to touch your body to ask that it be healed.

Sending prayers tonight for those of you who I know are struggling right now... if you would like prayer for something specific (and don't mind sharing) send me a message and I will add your request too. I may be small, but my God is big! He knows and loves you even more than I and He wants us to cast our cares at His feet.

Two are better than one, because they gave a good return for their labor: if either of them falls, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

This beautiful house made a wonderful home this week, though I’m certain it wouldn’t have felt even a bit like home if we hadn’t shared it with so many people we love.

We were so happy to spend a week of vacation with my parents and Jason’s mom. We made so many memories that we will cherish forever!

Ann Voskamp on Thanksgiving -

“Thanksgiving creates abundance; and the miracle of multiplying happens when I give thanks-take the just one loaf, say it is enough, and give thanks-and He miraculously makes it more than enough.”

This pretty little pastel pumpkin, the lone fall decoration in our house right now, has a pretty big job to fill.

We’re still quarantining at home; doing our best to recover and get well. I had hopes of the four of us visiting a corn maze and pumpkin patch this year for a small family day trip. Right now, it looks like time and circumstances may not make room for it.

So today, I’m thanking God for this single grocery store pumpkin….Giving thanks….Knowing that in some way He will redeem that time I hoped to spend with something even better. And this pumpkin is my reminder.

So grateful for parents that still take care of me

So grateful for parents that still take care of me even though I’m a grown. I’ve been sick since early last week and slowly my kids have joined me. Tonight my parents came over and dropped off some things to help us monitor our health until we get better.

It’s so nice to feel loved and taken care of, even if it is through a wave at the window.
