  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 3 Large Apples (peeled, cored, and diced)

Powdered Sugar Glaze

  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk or Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  1. Preheat Oven to 350°

  2. Line a 9" X 5" loaf pan with aluminum foil then spray aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray

  3. Mix Brown Sugar and Cinnamon in a medium sized bowl and set aside.

  4. In a large mixing bowl beat together the sugar and softened butter, until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.

  5. In a medium mixing bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. After it is well combined incorporate this mixture into the large bowl of cinnamon and brown sugar. Pour milk into the batter and blend well, until smooth.

  6. Combine your peeled, cored, and diced apples into the cinnamon/sugar mixture until the apple pieces are well coated.

  7. Pour half of your cake mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Then pour half of the apple mixture on top. Gently push the apples down into the cake mixture. Pour the remaining cake mixture on top of that, followed by the remaining apple mixture. Again, press the apples gently down into the cake mixture and swirl gently.

  8. Bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Approximately 1 hour.

  9. Allow the bread to cool completely (approximately 30 minutes) before coating with the powdered sugar glaze.
