These Morning Time resources have been a meaningful part of Fresh Wanderings for many years. While this particular resource is no longer available, I’m grateful that these posts continue to find their way into the hands of readers who value music, art, poetry, and Scripture.
If those are the very things that brought you here, I’d love to invite you to explore The Attentive Life.
Created in the same spirit of wonder and attentiveness that shaped these earlier resources, The Attentive Life extends an invitation to slow down and pay closer attention. Through music, art, poetry, photography, literature, and reflection, it gently explores the beauty, goodness, and meaning woven throughout ordinary life.
Thank you for spending time here. If The Attentive Life resonates with you, I’d be delighted to welcome you there as well.
June often arrives with longer days, open windows, and a gentle invitation to spend more time outdoors. It is a season filled with simple pleasures—wildflowers along the roadside, children lingering outside a little longer, and opportunities to slow down and notice the beauty that surrounds us.
This June Morning Time brings together themes of the sea, summer wonder, and the justness of God’s character. Through music, poetry, art, nature study, scripture, and hands-on activities, families can explore the richness of learning while enjoying the rhythm of the season.
One of the things I have always loved about Morning Time is how naturally different subjects connect with one another. A piece of music can inspire a conversation about the ocean. A poem can spark imagination. A wildflower growing along a fence row can become the beginning of a nature study. These small moments often become the ones our children remember most.
In this collection, you’ll listen to Claude Debussy’s La Mer, read RobertM Louis Stevenson’s beloved poem Where Go the Boats?, study Winslow Homer’s Boys in a Dory, learn about Queen Anne’s Lace, and reflect on scripture that reminds us of God’s perfect character and steadfast nature.
If you enjoy gathering rich and meaningful learning experiences around the table, you may also enjoy exploring the Morning Time Library and using the Gentle Weekly Rhythm Planner to create a peaceful framework for your homeschool days.

SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
As we moved through this month’s Morning Time, I found myself noticing a common thread woven throughout each study. The sea in Debussy’s music rises and falls. Boats drift across Stevenson’s poem and Homer’s painting. Summer wildflowers bloom for a season and then fade. Much of the world around us is beautiful, but constantly changing.
Yet our scripture reading reminds us of something altogether different.
Deuteronomy 32:4 describes God as “the Rock.” His work is perfect. His ways are just. He is faithful, righteous, and true. While the waves move and the seasons turn, God’s character remains unchanged.
There is comfort in that truth. Children grow. Seasons come and go. The ordinary rhythms of home and family life are always shifting in small ways. But beneath it all is the steady foundation of a God who can be trusted completely.
Perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts of Morning Time. As we gather around beautiful books, music, poetry, art, and scripture, we are not simply collecting knowledge. We are learning to pay attention. We are learning to see glimpses of God’s goodness, wisdom, and order woven throughout His creation.
And in the midst of changing days, we are reminded that the One who made the sea, the wildflowers, and every season of life remains forever faithful.
Thank you so much for your continued support of my small business. I hope that these bundles bless your family time together and, ultimately, they draw you closer to Christ, who loves you so dearly.
